Recently my PC is corrupted with virus. I have removed all the traces of virus using Norton Antivirus, but now when I try to open REGEDIT a window appears for a short time and then disappears. I have again scanned the pc to check if still there are any viruses left and I found there are no more viruses. I am still unable to open REGEDIT.
Please advice, your help is appreciated !

To open REGEDIT, follow following steps -
1. Goto C:\Windows
2. Locate Regedit.exe
3. Rename Regedit.exe to Regeditnew.exe
4. Now type REGEDIT in Run dialog box, it will open the REGEDIT.
