It's simple.
Follow the Steps Below
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Click Start - > Run
2. Type msconfig in Run Window
(It will open a Window System Configuration Utility)
3. Select Startup Option
4. Look for entry named msmsgs
5. Uncheck it.
6. Click Apply and Ok.
7. It will ask to restart the sytem to apply the changed setting.
8. Restart the system and you will see the Windows Messenger is no more.
