By default when you use the View Source feature of Internet Explorer it launches Windows notepad as the text editor. This tweak lets you choose which editor to use.

1. Open your Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
View Source Editor\Editor Name]
registry key.
3. Set the (Default) value to equal the full path and filename of the required text editor.
5. Restart Internet Explorer for the change to take effect.
