There is a simple Registry Tweak to minimise the Microsoft Outlook to System Tray when running. To minimise follow the steps below:

1. Open your Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences] in the left pane.
3. Create new DWORD in the Right pane of the Registry Editor and name it as MinToTray.
4. Double click the new DWORD and set the value data to 1 to minimise MS Outlook.
5. Exit Registry and restart your sytem for the changes to take effect.
