My PC gets more slower than usual after logging in. Its a celeron 1.7 ghz, 256 ram. I have been doing everything possible to increase the speed of the boot up. It takes about 15 minutes to start properly.

It may seem like a longer than normal boot up but I wanted anyone that does help me to speed up my start up.

To speed up your start up, you can do the following steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type msconfig, and then click OK.
3. Click Startup tab.
4. Deselect unwanted Startup item except Antivirus processes.
5. Click Apply then OK
6. Restart your computer.
