My PC is working very slow it seems it is affected with some spyware.

I want to see what all processes are running in startup, for that I want to use MSCONFIG command.

But when I typed MSCONFIG in Run dialog it gives error.

I have also checked windows, system32 folder but unable to locate the msconfig.exe

I am running Windows 2000.

I checked other Windows 2000 machine and still the same case.

The MSCONFIG.EXE is not present in that system also.

Please Help.

Thanx in advance. Smile

In Windows 2000 MSCONFIG.EXE is not present.

To use MSCONFIG command under Windows 2000 follow following steps :

1. Copy msconfig.exe from a Windows XP PC.

2. Copy and paste it into Windows 2000 system32 folder

3. It's done, now you can use the MSCONFIG under Windows 2000.
